Ticket & Access Perks

Lounge access, premium entrances, and which tickets unlock extras.

  • Crown Club tickets (sections 101–122, 100-level) include all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages at the Crown Club lounge behind the lower bowl - look for the entrance inside Gate 1.
  • The Delta Sky360° Club is a separate premium add-on and is not included with standard lower-bowl Club seats - it must be purchased independently and grants access to a glass-enclosed courtside lounge.
  • Sections 106–111 (lower bowl midcourt) offer the best sightlines-to-price ratio for non-premium seats; these rows are often priced similarly to upper-deck tickets on secondary markets for mid-tier opponents.

Entry & Logistics

Fastest gates, bag policy, and when to arrive.

  • Gate 1 on Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW (west side) draws the least foot traffic and is consistently the fastest entry point - avoid Gates 3 and 4 on the MARTA-facing Marietta Street side on busy nights.
  • Bag policy: clear bags only, maximum 12"×6"×12"; small non-clear clutch purses up to 4.5"×6.5" are permitted. No backpacks, camera bags, or soft-sided coolers.
  • Arrive 45 minutes before tip-off for regular games. For nationally televised or rivalry matchups (Heat, Celtics, LeBron visits), plan 60–70 minutes - the 2018 renovation improved concourses but the Hawks draw well for marquee games.

Parking & Transit

Where to park, transit options, and postgame exit tips.

  • MARTA is the fastest option: take the Blue or Green Line to the State Farm Arena station - it exits directly onto Centennial Olympic Park Drive, a 3-minute walk to Gate 1.
  • Lot 1 (adjacent, Centennial Olympic Park Dr NW) is the most convenient surface lot, typically $25–$35; reserve online via the Hawks app to guarantee a spot and save $5–$10 versus day-of pricing.
  • Rideshare drop-off is on Baker Street NW (north side of arena). For pickup after the game, walk one block north to Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd for faster driver access and shorter wait times.

Insider Tips

Pro fan knowledge you won't find on the official site.

  • The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and National Center for Civil and Human Rights are all within a 5-minute walk - worth combining with an afternoon game day trip.
  • The arena underwent a $192 million renovation in 2018 that added the Crown Club, wider concourses, and new video boards - it now ranks among the better fan-experience venues in the Eastern Conference.
  • For pre-game dining, Bacchanalia and Staplehouse are in the West Midtown / Westside Provisions District (15-min Uber); for walkable options, try No. 246 or Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse near Centennial Park.
