Ticket & Access Perks

Lounge access, premium entrances, and which tickets unlock extras.

  • The 200-level Club seats (sections 201–220) include access to the United Center Club Level, a dedicated restaurant and bar accessible only to Club-level ticketholders - the best amenity improvement for non-suite fans.
  • Suites (300-level loge boxes) are the most premium experience and include full catering service; they are available for single-game rental through the Bulls' premium sales team.
  • Lower-bowl sections 101–122 (100 level) are the most desirable non-premium seats; sections 109–113 center court offer the best combination of proximity and sightlines.

Entry & Logistics

Fastest gates, bag policy, and when to arrive.

  • The Michael Jordan statue on the east plaza (Gate 4, West Madison Street) is the most-used entrance and gets crowded - Gate 3 on the north side (West Warren Boulevard) is consistently faster for 100-level seats.
  • Bag policy: clear bags maximum 12"×6"×12"; small non-clear clutch purses up to 4.5"×6.5" permitted. The United Center has one of the strictest enforcement records in the NBA - arrive with your bag ready.
  • Arrive 45–50 minutes early for standard games; the 23,000-seat capacity and single-road access on West Madison Street creates significant pre-game foot traffic for playoff or nationally televised games.

Parking & Transit

Where to park, transit options, and postgame exit tips.

  • Lot B (Gate 4 side, West Madison Street) is the official team lot at approximately $45 on game nights - pricey but attached. Lots on Warren Boulevard and Wood Street are $20–$30 and 5–10 minutes on foot.
  • The United Center Express (CTA Bus #19) runs directly from downtown (Michigan Ave at Randolph) to the arena and back - free for fans with a game ticket. Takes approximately 20 minutes.
  • Rideshare pickup is on Wood Street (west side); the official pickup zone moves post-game - confirm via the app before leaving your seat to avoid the West Madison Street crowd.

Insider Tips

Pro fan knowledge you won't find on the official site.

  • The United Center is called "The Madhouse on Madison" - the nickname dates to the Reinsdorf era Bulls and reflects the building's genuine atmosphere on big playoff nights.
  • The Michael Jordan statue on the east plaza ("The Spirit") is worth a photo stop on the way in - it's the most visited sports statue in Chicago and typically less crowded 90 minutes before tip.
  • Near the arena, Avec and the restaurants of Randolph Street ("Restaurant Row") are 15–20 minutes by rideshare; for walkable options, Au Cheval in the West Loop is a classic but expect a wait.
