Ticket & Access Perks

Lounge access, premium entrances, and which tickets unlock extras.

  • Club Level seats (sections 142–169, 200 level midcourt) include access to the Club Level Lounge - the most popular non-suite upgrade in the building and a significant step up from general concessions.
  • Pepsi Club seats (selected 100-level sections) include access to the Pepsi Club lounge on the concourse behind the lower bowl - all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Upper bowl sections 344–366 are the most affordable in the building; the arena's steep rake makes altitude sections (300+) feel very close to the action relative to other NBA upper decks.

Entry & Logistics

Fastest gates, bag policy, and when to arrive.

  • The main entrance is on Chopper Circle (south side, off Auraria Parkway). Gate 1 (south) is fastest for most sections; Gate 4 (north, Elitch Gardens side) is recommended for sections 101–115.
  • Bag policy: clear bags maximum 12"×6"×12"; small non-clear clutch purses up to 4.5"×6.5" permitted. Ball Arena uses a mobile-exclusive ticketing policy - paper ticket backups are not printed at will call.
  • Arrive 45 minutes before tip. The arena sits at exactly 5,280 feet elevation - first-time visitors from sea level may notice mild shortness of breath walking stairs or moving quickly through concourses.
🚇

Parking & Transit

Where to park, transit options, and postgame exit tips.

  • RTD Light Rail C, E, and W Lines stop at the Pepsi Center/Elitch Gardens station directly adjacent to the arena - the recommended option from downtown Denver.
  • Ball Arena Parking (Chopper Circle garages, pre-purchase via the Nuggets app) runs $30–$40; online booking saves $5–$10 versus day-of pricing and guarantees entry on sellout nights.
  • Rideshare pickup is on Auraria Parkway (south side); the Speer Boulevard pickup zone is less congested post-game - walk 3 minutes south to cut rideshare wait time significantly.

Insider Tips

Pro fan knowledge you won't find on the official site.

  • The 5,280-foot elevation is a genuine on-court factor: road teams consistently underperform in Denver relative to their defensive metrics, particularly in the fourth quarter when accumulated fatigue becomes aerobic.
  • The Avalanche (NHL) share the arena, and the two fanbases heavily overlap - the building's culture reflects a serious multi-sport commitment that keeps atmosphere strong even during rebuilding Nuggets years.
  • Larimer Street and RiNo (River North Art District) are Denver's best pre-game neighborhoods: roughly 15–20 minutes via rideshare, with Dio Mio, Work & Class, and Hop Alley among the standout options.
